🏜️ 2025 Week 12 Western Golf Recap 🏜️
“Ain’t no mercy in them fairways…”
The sun blazed high and the prairie winds whispered tales of triumph and heartbreak in Week 12 of the 2025 Golf Showdown. Out on the dusty trail of competition, Greg Willard rode into the winner’s circle solo-style, wrangling a scrappy +8 to claim 1st IND honors. Close behind, and determined not to be just a tumbleweed in the breeze, Tom McNamara notched a +5, winning a tense card-off on Hole 1 over ol' sharpshooter Steve Dow to secure 2nd IND.
In the Team Division, the posse of Paul Cahill and Tom McNamara proved they had the grit, finishing with a combined +9 and stealing the win via card-off on Hole 1. Breathing hot on their heels, Steve Lozzi and Steve Dow also came in at +9, but the cards didn’t favor them this round.
Over yonder at the Closest to the Pin, Brian Murphy laid down the law with a dart that stuck 15 feet from the hole—clean and true.
As for the high-stakes shootout known as Skins, the loot was divided like an old gold mine:

Phil Richie (Hole 9)
*Holes 3 (Silva, Lozzi,Musgrove, Silvia and Finn) was locked down tight – no claimers there.

Chuck Mathieson (Hole 13)
Rick Walsh (Hole 18 – ridin’ into sunset glory)
As the dust settles and the clubs get holstered, the gang rides on to Week 13. The scores might fade, but the legend lives on...
