2025 Week 2 Results
I really thought we were going to make it through the whole day with no weather issue but at 5: 30 the rain came in and brought hail with it. Again, I want to remind everyone this is a blue/combo tee league with a few players playing from the white tees. Quota will change after week 3. As a whole we showed a small improvement from last week as a whole.. Scores ranged from -7 to +6
As of today I have received 45 out of 65 players payment. If the first half of the payment is not made by week three you will be removed from the list for week 4, unless you have spoken to me.
What a week for NEWCOMERS(NC)...especially
Charlie Russo
Individual Play - Charlie Russo put together a beautiful round on Tuesday by posting a +6 for the day. Coming in second was John Casey at +4. He was able to take second away from Paul McDermott in the card-off on hole 1.
Team Play - John Casey was not able to hang with Charlie in individual play, so he was lucky to be teamed up with Dan Raymon and his +2. They still needed a card off to take down Charlie and Steve Danieli.
Closest to the Pin: Charlie Russo hit a beautiful shot into hole 3 and more importantly made his putt to keep the streak alive at two weeks.
Front nine birdie pool: We had a total of four birdies on the front side (must be playing long with the wet condition) with two of them surviving: hole 3 (Charlie Russo) and hole 5 (Daniels). Hole 9 (Sully and Casey) was covered.
Back nine birdie pool: We had 7 birdies on the back side with three of them surviving: hole 11 & 15 (Ed Susi), hole 15 (Dan Svirsky) and hole 17 (Chuck Mathieson). With no eagle on hole 13 by Joe this week hole 13 was covered by 4 people with birdies: Lograsso,Bradley, Susi and Mathieson.
