I will apologize in advance for the late and short recap. I was on school vacation spending time with the family. Before we get into the week 1 Recap just a few reminders: when you sign in on Tuesday, please circle which tees you are playing (A and B players from the EOY tournament must play either the combo or blue tees. C and D players can choose white, combo or blue tees) and quota will change after week 3. 

We had a nice turn out for week 1: 26 public and 18 members. As a whole we have a lot of rust to brush off from the winter. We had a whopping 9 players on the plus side. 

Individual Play - Chuck Mathieson was +3 for the high individual play. Mike Leonard coming off the IR list took second place with a +3 but lost to Chuck in a card off.  

Team Play - Paul Raynard and Andrew Dugan took first in a card-off over Greg Paone and Rick Walsh. All four players were plus one for the day. 

Closest to the Pin: Greene stuck his shot closest to the pin with 7’6” and he made the putt.  

Front nine birdie pool: We had a total of five birdies, Greene on 2 and Dugan on 8 had the only surviving birdies. Lozzi, Paone and Mathieson all birdied 9. 

Back nine birdie pool: We almost double the number of birdies on the back nine with half the players. Of the nine birdies only two survived again: Mike Bradley (15) and Richie White (16). Hole 14 (McNiece and Payne) and hole 13 (Lozzi, Leonard, Frasca, Finn, and Dejesus) were covered.
