2024 Week 4 Results
Well this Tuesday was not as nice and sunny as the last few weeks but one person did not care about the sun, that was Dan Svirsky and his hole in 1 on hole 4. This is just third party information, but I heard he hit it long off the pine trees and bounced back on to the green and rolled into the hole. Either way CONGRATULATION on the HOLE IN ONE
Reminder: Quota WILL be changing from week to week so please make sure to check each week at the starter’s table.
We had 11 players in the positive for their quotas; individual scores ranged from +10 to -5 as team scores ranged from +10 to -6. Let's take a look back at last week's winners, Pete Frasca who won individual did not play this week. As for last week's winning team of Bob Bourne and Dylan Amaral they went from +7 to +5. They would have finished fourth this week.
Individual Play - Phil Richie had one of those round finishing birdie, birdie, birdie to post a +10. A group of players finished at +6: Mark Daniels, Mike Silvia, Dan Svirsky and Steve Dow. The card-off was short lived because Steve Dow birdied hole one to grab second place.
Team Play - Phil Richie and his +10 was teamed up with Dana Willard (E). Right behind them Rich Thomas(+2) and Scott Silvia(+6)
Closest to the Pin: Dylan Amaral missed out on improving the best closest to the pin by 2” but sticking it to 1’11” is pretty NICE. The putt was made so the streak is at one week.
Front nine birdie pool: We had a total of 10 birdies and one HOLE IN ONE!!! Six of them survived while 5 of them were covered: Steve Dow on 1, Greg Willard on 2, Dylan Amaral on 5 , Richie on 8 (three weeks in a row hole eight has survived) and 9 all lived. Bob Loring birdie was not good enough on hole 4 and hole 6 (Mathieson and Amaral) were covered. Finally one more time Dan Svrisky hole in one on hole 4 lived.
Back nine birdie pool: We had 7 birdies on the back side and 3 of them survived. Everett Ellis on hole 12, Paul Sully on hole 14 and Chuck Mathieson on 16 all lived. The rest were on hole 13 (Finn, White, Svrisky, and Raymond).
