The final week of the 2024 SIGL season will take place Tuesday. Don't forget the EOY Tournament is 9/15. Please let me know if you're NOT going to be able to make it or if your plans have changed so I can plan accordingly.

Individual Play - Bob Bourne had a day for himself as he posted a +8 for the day to take first place in the individual play this week. Coming in second was Matt Urban who also had a day for himself as he posted a +6 to grab second place.

Team Play - Bob Bourne and his +8 was able to beat all the other teams on his own. Lucky for him he was able to grab a partner who was even for the week, Scott Silvia and carry him to the winner's circle. Coming in second one stroke behind them was the team of Larry Barry and Adam Schlosser.  

Closest to the Pin: Matt Urban placed his shot 4’3” from the hole to grab the CTP this week and ended  the unwanted streak at 1 week. Nice Job!!!

Front nine birdie pool: We had 13  birdies on punched greens this week.  That might be the most we have had all year. Hole 4 (Bob Loring ) and hole 6 (Bob Bourne) are the only ones to survive. Hole 2 (G. Willard & Kelly), hole 3 (Bourne, Urban & Barry), hole 8 (Lograsso, G. Willard, Musgrove & McNeice) and hole 9 (G.Willard & S.Silvia) were covered.

Individual Play - Steve Dow and Dana Willard both came in at +5 but Steve was able to win the individual in the card off on hole one.

Team Play - David Finnegan and Greg Paone took first in team play over Steve Dow and Dan Raymo. Both teams were +7 but David and Greg won on the  card off on the second hole to capture the win.  

Closest to the Pin: Ed Finn placed his shot 12’5” from the hole to grab the CTP this week but the unwanted streak is at 1 week. 

Front nine birdie pool: We had only 6  birdies on the front and three survived: hole 5 (Steve Dow ), hole 6 (Kurt Sager) and hole 8 (Joe Lograsso). Hole 9 (Paone,Raymo & Sager) was covered.  

Back nine birdie pool: We had 10 birdies on the backside and only 2 of them survived: hole 11 (Paul Sully must have been a chip in) and hole 12 (Eric Aronson). Hole 13(Sagar, Leonard, Finn & Kelley), hole 14 (Svirsky& Kelley) and hole 18 (Finn & Kelley) were  covered.

Well we all knew the beautiful weather had to come to an end but it bounced back nicely this week.

  

ONLY 3 weeks left of the 2024 SIGL season. Don't forget the EOY Tournament is 9/15. Please let me know if you're NOT going to be able to make it by 8/24 which will give me plenty of time to organize everything for the tournament. (Everett and John T will not be able to attend)

Individual Play - John Tracey had a day for himself by posting a +10 for the round to take first place. John has been on a hot streak of late coming in second in Week 16 and running away with it this week.  Coming in second was Richie White with another outstanding score of +7. Great rounds !!!

Team Play - John Tracey & Mike Bradley lapped the field at +12 to take the win in team play. Coming in second was the team of Richie White and Lou Silva  at +7. Looks like Lou did just enough not to drag down Richie.  

Closest to the Pin: Kurt Sager threw a dart at the flag on hole nine to   grab the CTP on the 9th hole by hitting to 18”. Lucky for him he made the putt and the streak is at 2 weeks. 

Front nine birdie pool: We had another week with only 7 birdies on the front and three survived: hole 3 (Richie White), hole 6 (Lou Silva) and hole 9 (Kurt Sager). Hole 4 (M.Silva & Finn) and  hole 8 (McGarry & Tracy) were covered.  

Back nine birdie pool: We also had another week of 6 birdies on the backside and 4 of them survived: hole 11 (Scott Silvia), hole 13 (Rich Thomas), hole 15 (Phil Richie) and  hole 18  (Kurt Sager). Hole 12 (McNiece & Ma Nolan) was  covered.

Individual Play - Chris Sullivan had a day for himself by posting a +7 for the round to take first place. Coming in second was John Tracy posting a +6. Great rounds for you two but unfortunately your partners in team play took you down a few notches. 

Team Play - Bob Loring & Dan McGarry and Mike Silva & Richard Walsh  combine for a +6 this week to take first place and second place  in the team play but neither of them beat Chris Sullivan’s individual score of +7.  Bob & Dan grabbed first by taking down Mike & Richard on the first hole in the card-off.    

Closest to the Pin: Greg Willard  grabbed CTP on the 8th hole by hitting to 14’11” ft and he was able to end the unwanted streak. The approach shot was good but hitting a 15 footer for bird was even better. 

Front nine birdie pool: Wow we only had 7 birdies on the front and only one survived: hole 8 (Greg Willard). Hole 4  (Silva & Ellis) and  hole 9 (Paone, Lozzi, Leonard & Burke) were covered.  

Back nine birdie pool: We had even less birdies on the backside with  a total of 6 birdies and 2 of them survived: hole 11 (Mike Silva) and  hole 16  (Larry Barry). Hole 13 (Sager & Musgrove) and  hole 15 (Ellis & Lograsso)  were  covered.
