15 weeks and counting, the weather came out swinging but we stood strong and put up some solid numbers. 

Reminder: Quota WILL be changing  from week to week and quota are only from the last five weeks so please make sure to check each week at the starter’s table. 

Individual Play - Steve Danieli has been the only one able to take down Lou Silva over the last two weeks. Steve posted a +9 as Lou was only able to post a +6 for the week. Just like the temperature, someone's quota will be going up. 

Team Play - Just like last week Lou Silva and Steve Daniel’s teams were in the winner's circle but the only difference is Steve and his partner John Tracy took first over Lou and Dan McGarry. Nice shooting boys !!!

Closest to the Pin:  Dan Svirsky grabbed CTP on the seven hole by hitting to 19’10” ft  but the unwanted streak is now up to three weeks. 

Front nine birdie pool: We had a total of 10 birdies and 2 of them survived: hole 8 (Steve Danieli) and  hole 9 (Ed Finn). Hole 2  (Loring & Danieli), hole 4 (Sager & L.Silva), hole 5 ( White & Raymo) and hole 6   (Mathieson & L. Silva) were covered.  

Back nine birdie pool: We had a total of 11 birdies on the back nine pool and 4 of them survived: hole 11 & 16 (Greg Paone) and  hole 15 & 17  (Joe Lograsso) all survived. Hole 13 (Loring, Silvia, Finn & Walsh) and  hole 14 (Paone, Silvia & Walsh)  were  covered.

Before we get into this week’s recap  I would like to thank everyone who has paid their second half due. I will reach out to the last few people but nice job to everyone. TJ you can tell the leg breakers we are all set again this year. 

The great weather continues and league play is heating up too. We had 22 players on the positive side of their quota. Individual quota ranged from +9 to - 4. Team play scores ranged from +9 to -7. We also had a total of 25 birdies for front and back nine.

Individual Play - Looks like the week trip to Florida did Lou Silva some good as he shot 9 over his quota to grab first place this week. Coming in second was Mark Nolan at +7.  Nice round boys. 

Team Play - Lou Silva +9 did not need much help to win first place in team play this week and lucky for Chuck Mathieson was able to shoot even quota as Lou pulled him to the winner circle. Second place was Greg Willard and Steve Danieli at +7  

Closest to the Pin:  Ned Babaka  grabbed CTP on the sixth hole by hitting to 5’11” ft  but the unwanted streak is now up to two weeks. 

Front nine birdie pool: We had a total of 11 birdies and 2 of them survived: hole 2 (Lou Silva) and  hole 6 (Kurt Sager). Hole 3  (Sager and the Silva boys), hole 4 (M.Nolan and Urban), hole 8 ( Ma Nolan & Cahill) and hole 9 (Sager and Daniels) were covered.  

Back nine birdie pool: We had a total of 14 birdies on the back nine pool and 3 of them survived: hole 11 (Kurt Sager), hole 12 (Steve Lozzi) and hole 18 (Pete Frasca) all survived. Hole 13 (Lozzi, Silvia, Musgrove, White, John Daley, Finn, Walsh and L. Silva), hole 16 (Finn & Raymo) and hole 17 (Musgrove & Logosso)  were covered.

Before we get into this week’s recap  I would like to remind everyone that only Tuesday’s  front nine scores matter in this league. Nothing that you do on the other 6 days matters: good or bad.  Just ask Mike Silva about his hole in one on hole 14 on Wednesday and not to be out done, I showed Mike how it was  done when we played Crosswinds together on Friday and I aced the 6 hole Zaharias.  SO until everyone has GHIN (which is not required) ONLY TUESDAY SCORES COUNT !!!

We are officially past the halfway point of the season and second half  payments were due by WEEK 11  (members - $85 and non members $370) The list is getting shorter for people who owe money. Please don't make TJ or myself be the bad guy and remove you from the list. Just send me and email  IF YOU ARE WRITING A CHECK PLEASE DO NOT MAKE IT OUT TO  SIGL. I CAN NOT DO ANYTHING WITH IT. CHECKS NEED TO BE MADE OUT TO GREG PAONE AND IN THE MEMO YOU CAN PUT IN SIGL IF YOU WANT

Wow we had a total of 31 players on the plus side of their quota. Scores ranged from +6 to -8. Team scores we ranged from +11 t0 -8 (18 teams were on the plus side.) Nice playing by everyone

Individual Play - Phil Richie and Scott Corwin were both +6 for the day but Phil Richie took down Scott Corwin on card off but Scott Corwin was not taking it laying down as he called in reinforcements for team play.  

Team Play - Scott Corwin and Mike Silva ran away with team play by combing for +11. Not doing too bad for themselves Saul Payne and Vijay Popat were +8 as a team to take second place. 

Closest to the Pin:  Steve Dow graded CTP on the fifth hole by hitting to 7 ft  but the unwanted streak is no at one week. 

Front nine birdie pool: We had a total of 11 birdies and 2 of them survived: hole 2 (Scott Corwin) and  hole 3 (Steve Dow). Hole 6  (Finn, G.Willard, M. Nolan), hole 8 (Paone, Bourne and Urban) and  hole 9 ( Lograsso, M.Silva and Frasca) were covered.  

Back nine birdie pool: We had a total of 5 birdies on the back nine pool and only 1 of them survived: hole 17 (Joe Lagrasso). Hole 13 (Lograsso, Walsh, Kelley and Aronson) was  covered.
