Before we can get into the Week 18 recap: With only 2 weeks left please let me know if you cannot make the EOY tournament on Saturday September 9th at 7:45 am (shotgun with dinner to follow). 

We had 48 out of 55 players show up for week 18 and 17 0f them were on the plus side of their quota. Please continue to check your quota as they will be updated week to week.

Individual Play - Steve Dow and Lou Silva must have been practicing in the rain over the last two weeks because they came out firing. Steve Dow was +9 and Lou Silva was +6. 

Team Play - Steve Dow carried Nick DeJesus to victory lane and by birdie hole one took care of the card off vs Lou Silva and Dan Raymo who also finished at +10!!! 

Closest to the Pin:   Tom Nolan made a great shot on hole 9 by sticking it to 2’1” and he did make the PUTT to end the streak of 6 weeks. 

We had a total of 16 Birdies on Tuesday                                            Front Nine Birdie Pool: We had a solid week of birdies with 12 of the 16 birdies coming on the front side and 4 of them surviving: hole 1 (Steve Dow), hole 5 (Mike Burke), hole 6 (Lou Silva) and hole 8 (Everett Ellis). Hole 4 (Lozzi, Leonard, Corwin, Dow and Urban) and hole 9 (Sully, T. Nolan and Schlosser) were covered.   

Back Nine Birdie Pool: Of the 16 birdies 4 of them were on the back side with none of them on hole 13 and only two survived: hole 17 (Eric Aronson) and hole 18 (Rick Walsh). Hole 15 was covered (Ellis & Dugan).

Before we can get into the Week 14 recap: We are entering week 15 and dues need to be paid. The second half dues are due ($375 for non-members and $90 for members).  Only a few people left!!!

Individual Play - Short and sweet this week: Rich White was in a league of his own on Tuesday. His +8 was twice as much as second place of +4 by Andrew Dugan. 

Team Play - Andrew Dugan and Scott Corwin took first place at +7. They combined could not beat Rich White, but they got help from Brian Murphy pulling him down to +5 for the team. 

Closest to the Pin:   Mike “Deadshot” Silva won closest to the pin for the fourth time this year by hitting his shot to 6’3” and our streak of not making the putt is up to six weeks (ouch).

We had a total of 10 birdies for both front and back side.

Front Nine Birdie Pool: Of the 10 birdies 7 of them were on the front side.  There were 2 surviving holes: hole 4 (Bob Loring) and hole 8 (Rich White). Hole 5 (Raymo & L.Silva) and hole 9 (McNiece, M.Silva and Schlosser) was covered.   

Back Nine Birdie Pool: Of the 10 birdies 3 of them were on the back side and only one survived. The newcomer Everett Ellis has not done much on the front side but he is making a name for himself on the back nine. For the second week in a row his birdie has survived on hole 10.  As normal hole 13 was covered (McDermott & Lozzi).
